Install LiveDesk on a work computer

Your office admin gives each person a one-time setup code. Install LiveDesk, enter the code, and read the recording notice before anything starts.

There is no published LiveDesk release yet. We only publish builds that are code-signed (and notarized by Apple for Mac), so you never have to bypass security warnings to install LiveDesk.

System requirements

Windows

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • 64-bit (x64)
  • Internet connection while recording

Mac

  • macOS 13 Ventura or later
  • Apple silicon or Intel
  • Screen Recording permission, allowed by the employee in System Settings

Your dashboard

  • A current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox
  • Works on computers and phones
  • Not supported: Linux, ChromeOS, tablets as recorded computers

Install help

  1. Open the installer and follow the steps. LiveDesk installs for the current user.
  2. Enter the setup code from your office admin (it looks like OFFICE-XXXX-XXXX and works for 24 hours).
  3. Check your name, role and work hours, then read the recording notice and accept it.
  4. On a Mac, allow LiveDesk under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording when asked.
